Hypertech Power Programmer

Hypertech Power Programmer
Has anyone tried the hypertech power programmer? Supposedly this will give better HP gains (than a chip) because you must enter specific variables of your truck (exhaust, intake, rear axel ratio, tire size, ect.) I have ordered one and I should have it within a week or two. I will be going to the track in two weeks (weather permitting) and I will see if my ET's are any lower. They should be a lot better.
Last year I ran 16.47@83.55mph when the truck was stock, since then I have added a K&N Filtercharger cold air induction, flowmaster cat back exhaust, and replaced the stock 275-60-17 tires (30 inches tall) With 295-45-18 tires and wheels Lghtning style (28.5 inches tall) Already the 4.6 feels more powerfull, can't wait to see what the programmer will do!

F-150 STX,
Welcome to the site. Let us know how the Programmer works out for you. Since you'll be running WOT at the strip you should notice some improvement. However, since you made several mods you won't know what did what. Since it's fairly easy to add/remove the program you might run it both ways and post the results.
BTW - You should know most here are Superchips supporters so don't look for much support using the Hypertech device.

You'll find it only downloads all of their program in the Ford version. It doesn't allow for selective downloads(no different than a chip), all or nothing, it may correct for tire size or gears, however it only tunes wide open throttle, and you don't get the "adjustability" you think you are getting.
