Thumbs up

I must agree with Jarrett. WHAT04's truck looks pretty cool in that pic.

On subject, I just ordered my Superchip -- could be in by this weekend. Anyway, I am annoyingly uptight about what goes into my truck. Boy, did I do a lot of research followed up by a lot of questions to Mike and others (customers, mostly). I haven't found a thing indicating problems caused by the proper application of a Superchip, and that's with three months of pretty agressive research.

I've noticed a lot of you seem to be attacking MasterFordTech and drive non SC Lightning trucks as I do. This needs cleared up. He only intended this thread to do w/ the SC lightnings. As far as I know Master is planing on Superchiping his 4.2. I doubt someone would do this w/ and say all Superchips are bad. Sorry, I don't know where his response is guys. I told him your waiting.

well it looks like I got some responses to my post. First of all Im not here to fire at superchips but I think someone with a chip on a lightning should know that there could be a problem with the chip. the first truck that had some problems came in with 3 plugs burned. we have one engine that is being inspected right now to see what is the cause of concern wheter it's a ford problem or add on performance parts. For people that think i'm full of **** youre sure getting offensive i wouldnt make a post to lie to lightning owners. I will keep posting on what is found on the problem.

So, superchip=burned plugs.Somehow, I am not getting this.Any other mods on the 1st truck?
I am trying to be open minded about this and am curoious(sp)about the probs. However, I think if there was a problem w/a chip, it was the truck owners fault for having some mods that weren't programmed for in the chip.Secondly ,if the truck had a lesser brand chip in it, then it wouldn't seem as unlikely that it is just the chips fault.Keep us posted.

It might interest some people following this thread to know that this person tried this same thing over on F-150 World, and the same things happened. Proof was demanded, and none was ever given, according to what I was told, I do not get time to go to World myself very often. I was told yesterday that he never even showed up again over there after proof was demanded. A couple of the people who participated in that thread and asked him for this information called me to let me know just what's going on, and that is wasn't just being done here, but apparently everywhere he can post.

So this isn't the only place where he's doing this, and it's still completely unsubstantiated.

Once again, if this individual, who still refuses to identify himself, his employer, or anything factual regarding these claims will come forward, Superchips is waiting.

We're not holding our breath.........

Hey, I think that some of you guys need to lay off of MasterTech. He was only trying to help those people who own LIGHTNINGS. It could be the chips fault or a Ford problem. Instead of indirectly calling him a liar, let him speak his mind and get over it. When he gets more info on the motor being inspected, im sure he will post the results.

Sounds to me like the story is already changing. So now it might be a Ford problem?

Dont give a damn about credibility need none.
Will say 1warranty got voided this week for chips installed. Cust has to repair back to factory specs out of own pocket to regain warranty. One truck may have had a maf on it not sure. Mike T will keep you posted on other news on truck.

You know how you said he had posted something about superchip on F150 world, Mike T. Can someone post a link to that because I've searched for it and found nothing. I'm just wondering because he didn't post it. I'm curious to see it even though i don't have a Lightning. I'm sure others would like to see it too.
