Superchips in Lightning

Hi Moose-man & Signmaster,
First, thanks to both of you for you posts & comments.
Believe it or not guys, it's really not my intention to "go Arnold" (I can't begin to spell Arnold's last name correctly) on this individual, that's a funny analogy. However, whether this individual knows it or not, it is a very serious allegation, it just doesn't get any more serious in this business. Hence, my challenge to him to provide his identity, his true employer and the proof of his claims, which is only fair, given his accusations.
Could I have worded my post differently? Sure, hindsight is always very conveniently 20-20, and perhaps I will, given time. Few people I know take very kindly to blatant & unsubstantiated attacks on their core competency, and neither do I. I take all posts at face value, and respond accordingly.
Signmaster, you may be absolutely correct in your guess that nothing more will be heard from this individual, time will tell of course, and thanks for your suggestion.

MasterFordTech has been busy so i'll try to give him a call to tell him that you all want to hear back. Trust me he's not one to lie, especially about this. But there still is the real possibility that they modded after the chip, but who knows, I wasn't there. He was telling me one guy actually brought his truck in w/ some ducktape left on there from holding the chip so he's got plenty of proof on top of the error that came up on the comp. when tested.

Mike,
I was just trying to keep the veins from popping.... I can understand 100%. To make such a statement without absolute proof doesn't say much for this post.
To make it based on evidence of duct tape is even worse.

I guess you were there guys. Don't jump on me but hey, i'll be the one laughing if your truck starts having probs. Oh ya if one of you all jumps how many follow before you question why. Mike T. is going about it the best way. Wait for proof. But quit saying someone's a liar when you don't know.

Dont even start that, bro. Mike wasnt calling anyone a liar, he just asked for proof because he knows the chip shouldnt and probably wouldnt cause that. Re-read his post, not one word was "liar". He has faith in the product he sells, and thus hes going to back it up.

HI!... MIKE T is a good freind of mine and I trust fully what he says. I have been running a really modded SUPERCHIP in my REALLY modded truck for about 2 years now and have had no problems at all. I just had another custom "FLIP-CHIP" done from MIKE T and am waiting to install it as soon as I get my PRO-M purchased. Yes the new chip has been calibrated for the PRO-M.

OK guys,
While I sincerely appreciate all the support, truly I do, I think it's only fair to point out that "OneBadCrewX4" never said I was lying, or anything close to it, so perhaps there is just a simple misunderstanding. And, this isn't "aimed" at anyone in particular, you know if this is appropriate to you or not. If it is, please accept our thanks for your loyal support, and if you'll re-read OneBadCrewX4's post, you'll see he didn't call our veracity into question at all. His crack about how he'll laugh if people start havig problems with their trucks, the implication clearly being that it would be because of the Superchip, was completey out of line, serves only to inflame and indicates a complete lack of knowledge of what the Superchip actually does, and what it cannot do. So it's no wonder is someone takes offense to what he actually posted, but he didn't call us liars.
It's of course very easy to get a bit emotional or heated in a thread like this, and I myself certainly plead guilty as the party "under attack", so to speak, I'll just never respond well to unsubstantiated attacks such as this. For what it's worth to everyone, let's let calmer heads prevail, and not allow ourselves to get overly-heated or read things that weren't actually said into other's posts, please. That may sound a bit funny coming from me (!), but the reality is that we all need to just keep calm, with our thanks in advance.
Our bests to all,

As a soon to be chipped F-150, I would have to agree with Mike T., in that there is a huge number of factors here. *****, put the wrong spark plugs into your trucks and see how they run. Anybody can do modifications to their trucks but if they don't know what they are doing and if it is not compatible with the other modifications then something is going to happen. And odds are, it isn't going to be good.

A report on engine damage (whatever the cause) get's my full attention everytime. I agree with Mike T., A claim this bold HAS to be verified before I get worked up about it.
I just wish this post does not become a 'personal' thing because it's a good post and I hope the thread will continue. I like a good discussion thread! As HarleyGuy once told me on F150Online: "It takes all kinds."
