Mike T. or anyone else, do you know anything about the Roush package for the F-150. What type of motor package do they use? I was thinking about an L but I just want and need the supercab model. I read about the suspension, but could not find anything about the motor package. Thanks

The hunting that I did when I was looking to buy found that you can buy up to about $9000 worth of pretty stuff for your truck from Roush. You will get really nice wheels, improved handling and a stainless steel exhaust - maybe some nice body kits. that's all. I did hear word that they were working on a Ford authorized supercharger kit, but no oficial word the last I looked. My suggestion - go buy the parts you want for half the price.

I am interested in the Roush Suspension, they lower the truck about 3.5 inches front and rear, and handling is greatly improved.

I did see that their 'stage III' F150 is still under construction on their website, and I only recall seeing the Supercharger, FIPK, and I believe Chip, all as one package. I think those are the only mods so far. I believe they already have a performance exhaust.

The only thing I really think would be worth the money is the suspension package.

As the others have responded, the Roush package is primarily a handling and appearance package, though they are supposed to be working on a blower package as well, time will tell.

I have a 2000 Roush stage 2 F-150 package

I only have 300mi on it but let me say it handles better than some late model mustangs I've driven. Starting 2001 they are offering stage -3 package deals w/ superchargers both for the F150 & Stang.

I seem to be getting better gas mileage than other 5.4 probably due to the lower GC & the ground effects.

One question though up front on the valience it has a divider between the lower air scoop so its like 2 separate openings
all the Billet grills I have seen dont make provisions for this.
Any leads as to where I could find one?

Do the nascar editions have the rousch suspension??? I've always wondered how they went about dropping the body 3 inches and they handle way better than a regular f150 with just a 2/4 drop.

Check Steeda(Steda?), don't know there web site but they have a package like you are looking for, supercharged 5.4, lowered, ext. cab, custom everything.

Thanks JB. I just looked at their website which is steeda.com. Good information and you can select your own custom package which I reall like!!! It's expensive, but I'm going to contact them and go over it. There is a local dealer here in Baton Rouge that can handle the sale through them.

Hi 1998 Nastruck,

I don't know if those are all factory Ford suspension pieces, or if Ford had Roush do them to achieve the lower stance, maybe someone else can tell us. Those Nastrucks are indeed lower, lighter, and have those nice 3.73 gears as well, so they run better and handle better than other stock 4.6 F-150's.
