F-1 Hood
wynjammer,
Thanks for the picture. Now I can keep my 97 Semi-hidden system and put it on my 99. How far is the top roller from the air dam?

It's actually about an inch behind the top of the cut but the bottm of it is clear. You would have to be hooked up about a 45 degree (or more) angle before the cable would contact the plastic.
wynjammer,
Thanks, now I'm all set and waiting to go.

Wynjammer, Let's get back to the hood-scoops being non-funtional. In the October 98 issue of Sport Trucks there was a right up on the installation of an aftermarket hood that was double-walled and set up to funnel air into the factory airfilter housing.
If you can't get your hands on that issue - let me know and I'll scan it for ya.
Oh yeah, I hate your truck - it makes mine look like Vanilla.
