In My Honest Opinion
Not trying to butt in, just didn't want you to have to wait.
Hope you don't live near me, that hood would give me whiplash! Too cool!

Actually, it's "In My Humble Opinion". At least, that what *my* IMHO has always stood for! It's a term I picked up as a CompuServe sysop, and on CompuServe, it's always meant "In My Humble Opinion."

Either way works!

Question

That sure does add some good looks to your truck, but what impressed me was the grille!! Who makes it? I haven't seen one with the cross members so thin and tightly spaced before! Looks great! Also, how complicated was the install (on the grille)?

Thanks,
Chris

Wynjammer,
Your truck looks great! What brand winch do you have? I really like the way it is tucked under the front bumper. My truck looks just like yours, only mine's an F-150, doesn't have the F-1 hood, no supercharger, no winch, no two tone paint, no Lariat pinstipes, no dual exhaust, no clear lenses, and no billet grill

Wynjammer,

Who makes your Semi-hidden winch mount? Is it Warn? if so what is the PN? I have a 97 model mount and was wondering if it will fit my 99.

From what I've seen, the 99 mount has a different part number, since the bumpers are slightly different.

JohnB..
Got the tail and corner light lenses from SImpson Tool box here in Phoenix. Don't recall who made em but I have a short cut to the website on my site. I'll include it my signature.

FordMX..
Got the Grille thru the same outfit above. Again I don't remember the manufacturer but I do know they are BIG. The one for the newer 99 style have the "tighter" pattern.

The winch and mount are both Warn. It was a mount I had on my 97 F150. It fit just fine though I did have to do a fair amount of cutting on the front air dam. I put a short piece of chrome door stip around the edge of the cut to hide how rough it was and it ended up looking pretty good!

I did realize that I did not have the billet listed in my "Gadgets" page and will be adding it as soon as I can remember the company!

wynjammer,

If it is not too much to ask do you have any close up pictures of the hole you had to cut in the air dam? Tia

FYI The Clemson $ Wheel Center 1-800-257-4294 is the South East distributor for Warn Products and can make anyone a good deal on wenches. The new 9000i is now rated at 4.6 hp! Price I got from them was $799. a couple of months back. The semi-hidden mount system was $100. It mounts on the existing tow hooks bolts. You can cut out the air dam hole a little over sized to accept a fairing lead cover as well. They use a hand router tool for this.
