I have a SD V10 w/ Superchip and was
wondering if I can add Klotz's Nitro
(www.klotzlube.com) as is without risking
knocking, or would I have to use even
higher octane (more than 92)?

I ask because Klotz suggests, if anything,
to retard the timing 1 or 2 deg. to prevent
pre-detonation.

(if you're not familiar, Nitro's supposed
act like nos, providing more o2 for
combustion, except milder and added to fuel;
i've read of great gains with it)

 

I have 2 words for you: PLEASE DON'T!

Do not use anything other than pump gasoline in that Super Duty truck, with or without the Superchip! You could find yourself having to replace spark plugs very quickly.

All you need with the V-10 Superchip is a good quality premium gasoline, 92 octane or higher. If you'd like to discuss this in greater detail, please feel free to give us a call, our number is in my signature below.
