JET Chip
I bought the JET chip module for my 99 F150 4.6L 2 weeks ago. All i can say is its been removed and headed back to the place i bought it from. What a piece of junk. I noticed more of a performance gain from my K&N air filter. I ordered a Superchip from Mike Troyer on friday. I'll let everyone know my honest opinion. I wanted to post this article for those people thinking of buying a jet chip. Save ur money!

I bot a jet chip back in early 1997 before the Superchips were available. It is now being used as a paper weight. I got it from my local Ford Dealer and they would not take it back.

When we spoke on Friday, I thought your name was "Ed", so please accept my apologies, as this is how your order was entered! It was too late on Friday for it to ship, so it will ship today, and you should see it on Wednesday. As we spoke of on Friday, be prepared for the jumper problem on your ZJP2, as some ZJP2's in the past have been affected. Though you can't predict this by the computer code, I try to let anyone who has a code that has been affected in the past know, so they can brace for it.
Just remember it's an easy fix, so don't have a heart attack if it happens!

I see you're going to do the JBA headers too, that's great! Steve (our Webmaster) has a great deal on them on the F150online store.
You're going to end up with one quick F-150 at this rate!

I have been unsuccessfully tyrying to stay out of trouble. I used my wife's 99 Explorer in the Dunes and the last time out I broke the lower rad shroud so she doesn't want me to go back with it. :-( As soon as my 2000 comes in I will drive it home and call you with the code and what I want changed. I learned a lot with the old chip. My son will be turning 16 in 2000 and he wants a set of keys. I might get a flip chip with a speed limiter of 30 mph... :-)
