Question Prowax issue

I recieved my prowax catalog today and my god talk about inventory lol I was paging through it this evening to find 2 grades of claybars and a product called "Power Lift fallout remover liquid. Me being kinda of hesitant to use a claybar on any finish because I'm a novice, instead of taking the risk of scratching the finish, would it be safer to use this instead or is a claybar that much safer. Intel i know you use prowax, it's C-45 Power Lift Fallout Remover Liquid on pg.9 under Solvents & Removers in the catalog, what do you think or anybody else about this versus a claybar???

This one kicks *** cuz yea I smoke but it's still funny!! LMAO!

C-45 Power Lift Fallout Remover Liquid is great. I use it.

It really doesn't replace the clay though. You'll also need a gallon of their C-60 Super Car Wash. It is a good soap but is also used to neutralize the Falout Remover.

For the clay get the clay away 4 bar.

For some reason in my catalog I don't see the clay away 3 or 4!!??? I like there complete line of professional products and IMHO I don't see how your veichle can ever look dirty or grimy if you use there products, just look at all the cleaners, degreasers, paint sealants, waxes etc... they have I was thinking of getting some for my new Ranger next spring as I don;t the have the luxury of a heated shop, wish I did, lol Tks Intel

yhea, you have to check at your local dist or their webpage for all their products. Their catalog is somewhat outdated

All their cleaners, etc. were developed for a specific purpose. They just don't have a ton of things that do the same thing

well ya see Intel, I'm not right, not in the head at least. I worked on my bro's 89 150, well I went to put it back together thinking it's sealed up and he's gonna be happy. I went to start it up, sure enough, it sprays antifreeze all over the engine, got some in the alternator and well fried it I was changing his thermostat Intel and all others who reads this ****ed up story! So goes to show you, I'm not mechanically inclined and I'm a complete idiot, so have a nice ****in day yea I know my attitude sucks

Question

Does anyone know if a "touchless" automatic type car wash with thier high pressure spray can cause damage to clearcout. I run my truck through one of these occassionally during winter to keep salt and dirt off the paint. It will not clean too well if the truck is dirty, but seems to do a reasonable job when only slightly dirty. Only problem I have seen is the water drip that occur from arounfd widows and below side mirrors etc white water spots as the drier/blower does not get all of the water off. I ask because I figure I'll have to wait untill spring untill I can clay and remove all the swirls I seem to be accumulating.

The actual pressure won't damage your paint unless they have the pressure up really high and I doubt the place will b/c the insurance agency they use won't want them using really high pressure water b/c it can damage vehicles and they'll have to pay. They usually end up using harsh detergents to help clean, which will strip off wax.
