Best leather conditioner

I was wondering what the best leather conditioner to use on Lariat seats, to keep them looking new & soft. I used lexol cleaner & conditioner on my 97 Lariat, & I think it stripped it & caused it to crack. I want to avoid that w/ my 2000. Lexol may be good - but I think I am definately going to stay away from the cleaner.

Thanks.

The only two products I hear notthing bad about are url=www.leatherique.com]Leatherique[/url] and Zaino leather care. I personaly use Zaino Z-10 on our 99 Lariat and they look and feel better now than new. I just used Z10 last night on my other car and I forgot how much I love the smell of "Leather in a Bottle".

I use Poorboy's Natural Look on the leather and all interior plastic. Does a wonderful job of cleaning and protecting in one step and is very easy to use.

I use Maguires Gold Series leather cleaner and conditioner.

I ride a bike to and from work more than drive and my leather jackets get a rough life. This stuff really helps to keep the jacket moisturized and also gives it a nice soft feel with a good healthy 'glow'.

I also use it in the cars and have for a long time with only great results.

Harley#356 - I think the cleaner stripped my leather of a protective coating or someting - all that I know is that after I used it the leather started wearing & cracking (not breaking -- just making it look bad). I think the lexo conditioner alone is ok, but I'm not sure. I still have alot of both and I was thinking about using just the conditioner on my 2000.

Hoping this question is somewhat on topic. I am a "poor" guy couldn't afford leather seats like you all...

Anyhow I do have the leather wrapped steering wheel so was wondering what any of you thought would be good to use on that. The reason I ask is I don't know if you would use the same on the steering wheel as on seats.

So if you RICH guys could help out this POOR guy would be great.

XLT, its not under a tree. LoL! I woke up sunday morning and looked out the window and wtf? all those leaves blew on my truck from a few trees like 25-35 feet away from the truck and it was raining so they all just stuck. Had to get a pic though. LoL. Right after that i washed the truck even though it was raining out. couldn't stand the leaves on it. At least i didn't have to dry it
wish i had a garage though! Going to be getting a cali car cover stormweave custom cover soon hopefully

and i'm not a RICH guy, but i use the same stuff on the steering wheel as the seats. LoL

I use Pro's stuff on lots of cars and have never had any problems.

I've used it on lots of Lexus' and have never had any problems with them. BTW, Lexus is know to have, well they use to atleast, have horrible leather. The dye likes to come out of those things soo eaisly.

I talked to them about this and they said it is fine.

The coating on leather seats is a polymer coating but it still breaths. Pro stuff is waterbased so it won't damage the coating.
