Angry D@MN Kids

I was sitting at home last night watching Football when I heard this loud bang. I looked ouside and saw nothing. Started to watch the game again when I heard two more loud bangs, ran outside and found that the neighbors two little kids where throwing rocks at the tailgate of my truck.

Have one good dent and scratch down to the metal below my tailgate handal. Went and got there mom and let her see what they had done. She agreed to pay for it to get fixed.

After she went in all I heard was "Where's my SPATULA?"

Doh! That sucks. I remember what that spatula used to feel like. But seriously, that's a bummer about the truck. I'd be pretty upset myself. At least you have a chance of getting it taken care of. Imagine if it happened while you were out?

wedgewoodblue00, you will have to edit that last post. Arkansas has specific laws governing the Privacy of juveniles and use of their names in connection with a crime. If the said juvenile is guilty of a misdemeanor, then their names may be revealed however, in the case of a felony they cannot. A felony is any crime punishable by a spatula, wooden spoon or greater.

Got a quote today. $125.00 . Wonder how many spatula licks that is worth. Or use what my grandma used on me and my brothers when we were younger...........The cord off of a coffee pot.

Really makes you mad when other peoples kids mess with you stuff. I've had several instances of this occur through the years.

1. Neighbors 5 year old was "washing" my new pickup ( black chev at that time) with a bowl of gravel. Scraatched athe whole side. Never got a dime....
2. Same neighbor, same kid, shot the side window of my El Camino with a BB gun. Paid with rolls of nickels.
3. Just after buying a new Red F150, A different neighbors kid ran a piece of sharp metal across my tailgate, leaving a deep, to the metal scratch. The neighbors were trash, excusing their kid, denying he did it, even after the sharp metal, with red paint on it was found at their front door.

My recommendation is to NEVER let the kid or the parents get away with this vandalism. I do believe that the kids usually act out something they have heard their parents say.

Yep, some peoples kids I had some little brat decided to make a 2 foot run with a key on my tailgate and in the process was creative. It looks like a series of waves. I was so pissed.... good thing I didn't catch the little $h!@. Of course I have a $500 deductible on my insurance and the estimates $450.... lucky me
