Talking Who ever said Zaino was better for light colors

just thought i'd post some of these pics of my truck from the show today for anyone still on the fence about trying zaino. yes, z may be the best out there for light colors, but it is still nothing short of incredibly amazing on black!

Geezus H Christ, that is unbelievable.
I'm sure the pics don't do it any justice, but from what I see, damn! it looks amazing.

I am gonna have to get some of that Zaino stuff.

I have to say, that's the nicest wax job ive ever seen from a photo.

Sweet!

Dude, your truck is getting better and better looking every day.
I would love to see that beast in person. Better yet, and take it for a drive with the windows open so I can yell "Yee Haw!! LOL

You colorsand that? I don't see too much orange peel. My truck is loaded with it and badtothebones tailgate is loaded with it. Rest of the truck he's had repainted.

Nope I would be too afraid to. Thats the best panel on the entire truck though. Practically zero orange peel. The passenger door makes up for it though got keyed and the dealer repainted it and there is alot of orange peel. Also have a little tiny dent on the passenger door that i need to get hammered out. Could i get a professional to color sand the truck and it would be gone? I think i'd be too afraid to trust someone with that though and risk screwing up the clear or something.

thanks for the compliments though

Just have to say again AWESOME. It looks great. I am glad you made a post about how the Zaino is great for dark as well as light colors.

I don't remember just how it got started. I do remember posting something to the effect that I loved Zaino. I don't recall if it was you or someone else that asked about it for dark colors and I responded with what I had read before about Zaino being for light colors and K for darker colors BUT that I didn't know from personal experence. With that said I didn't want to recommend it to someone with a dark color only to have them find out it didn't work well. That would have been bad since Zaino is not cheap.

Now you have set that record straight. Next time anyone ever ask me about polish I can recommend Zaino regardless of color and feel confident about my recommendation based on your truck.

You can get a pro to do it but it usually costs a lot. Like $25 an hour and it can take 10 hours to do the sanding.

thanks 01 XLT Sport. I'm not sure how it got started either, but i think some people said that zaino was like the best possible thing out there for light colors, and so some asssumed it wasn't good for dark colors? i dunno, but i'm convinced that its just as awsome for black.
