Tire shine...

What do you all think about the "Tire Wet Gloss" gel form? Has anyone tried it and had a bad experience? So far my tires look great but i just applied yesterday.

Just recently started using Detailer's Advantage from Armor-All. I was using Endurance from Meguiar's but the Detailer's Advantage is much easier to use and lasts a fair amount of time. So far I like the Detailer's Advantage.

I used to use Wet N Black Tire Shine or Eagle One Tire Shire, but now have converted to Wet N Black Tire foam. Not as messy and lasts alot longer. Plus looks good in the wheel wells.

Antiozondants... hrrrm... anti-ozone? No clue...

I use Meguiars Natural Shine. It's not a super glossy but adds a nice luster the the tires. It comes in a bright red plastic bottle and I bought my last bottle at Auto Zone. Great stuff if you're not looking for a SUPER HIGH GLOSS (which I wasn't).

To protect against ozone and UV damage, a stabilizer molecule called a “competitive absorber” is blended with the tire polymer. Competitive absorbers work by capturing and absorbing UV radiation and converting it to heat which is dissipated harmlessly. All tire manufacturers use the same competitive absorber, carbon black. This is why all tires are black...why tires are not available in designer colors.

I use the gel tire gloss from Black Magic. I think it looks great once you apply it, but...the stuff don't dry. It has that whole wet tire look because the gel is wet! Also, road contaminents and most of all dust stick to the tires. Then as soon as you know it the tires aren't shiny know more, they're all dirty looking from the dust sticking to them. I'm thinking about changing to something different but when this stuff shines, it shines!(until the dust gets to it! )

I agree about the black magic. Get's dirty real fast.
I might try some of the endurance, sound pretty good .

I recently switched to Turtle Wax Wet 'N" Black. I find it lasts far longer than anything else I have tried.
