recent Zaino to LG user
As a recent convert from Z to LG, all I can say is, on black paint, I think the LG is better looking. That's after only two coats. It was only last weekend that I put it on so I don't have any idea how long it will last, but I'm impressed nonetheless.

Hey that was a great thread. Glad to hear that Zaino seems to work great even on dark colors. As I had posted before I didn't have any experence with it (mine truck is silver), but nice to read people who have and had high regards for it.
It will be time for me to buy some more Zaino products soon
especially the ZFX.

yea i have about 3/4 of a can of LG left, and once that's up, i'll probably give the zaino a try. I want a little more durability, and i want to try the z6 QD, and need an excuse to do a claybar, so trying out zaino is a good enough one. As for better for lighter colors or whatever, i've heard that zaino gives more reflection and shine, and Klasse gives a deeper wet look. I dunno, but i'm gonna try the Z because i like the system better than klasse, and i can compare the results with the LG.
Update
3 coats on the sides of the truck (doing the roof and hood last cause I'm lazy)...
The pic doesn't do it justice, but you can see the difference between the hood and the fender. This paint is 4 months old.
Very pleased, got my first "how do you make it shine like that?" today at the gas station

. And i also get, "what kind of wax do you use?" and then i tell em and theiy are like
whats that? and i gotta explain it. LoL
LoL, sorry about that
In that thread though, most are bias towards Z, here i'm towards LG. I want to try them both so i can compare for myself and make my own opinion. But i was at FTW earlier today talking to a few HD owners that aren't on this site (haven't seen the light i guess
) about a car show this weekend, and i saw this guys gallery. He uses Zaino. I've been wanting to see good clear pics of Z on a black truck. Finally found some. Take a look thorugh his gallery. Amazing shine! Looks better than LG in the pics. ANd like people have said before, Z is better for reflectivity and shine. Which is what i want!
here's the pic. If it doesn't turn out just click on the links at the bottom

Can you do use a favor and do like half your truck in Zaino and the other half in Liquid Glass... Like right down the middle of your truck
maybe a panel like the tailgate if i have time. Not the whole truck
Zaino on black is like the god of all shines. I havent seen anything touch it and believe me, ive used a lot of stuff.
I dislike carnubas. They lack durability. Some people say they notice black being richer in color when they used carnuba. It takes several coats of Z2 to get that effect, but the color does get richer with each application. I really think a lot of people dont give Zaino a fair shake and expect instant results with one application.
Next time you use zaino, apply the polish differently.
For instance, go Vertical on the hood. Horizontal on the sides. I change up on every panel. My bed is done vertical, while thee door is horizontal and the fender is vert.. I change this up on every application and it does make a noticeable difference after a few coats. The optics are unbelievable.
