I've been told that if you nuke some peanutbutter, yes peanutbutter, it will remove the wax. Others use the peanutbutter trick along with some simplegreen. If you do a search I'm sure you'll find a ton of posts on this subject.

Good luck

peanut butter doesn't really remove the wax, it is simply hiding it.

To remove it you can use a stiff brush to scrub it out, a NON-CAUSTIC degreaser will remove it (a caustic cleaner will damage you paint), Fallout Acid will remove it.

I found that lava rags work well.

What are some examples of 'non-caustic' degreaser? What brands? Where can I get fallout acid?

Any natural degreaser is safe. Eimann Fabrik Engine Degreaser.

ProWax makes a fallout acid. Power Lift Fallout Liquid.

Do you think some of that 'orange clean' stuff would work? Is this an example of a non-caustic degreaser? How about a product like 4-0-9?

Any thoughts?

THANKS!
