Intel,
I've noticed from many of you reply's, you heavily promote Klasse waxes. Have you ever compared Klasse to Zaino first hand? I was pretty sold on Zaino until I started seeing all the “thumbs-up” for Klasse! I own a Black Super Crew and I'm looking for that ultimate shine and reduced swirls! It seems that Zaino applies a little more science when they describe their wax and the precise "Methods" of applying it! I read one thread where someone mentioned that Klasse was better for dark colored vehicles and Zaino was better for lighter colors. That sounded kind of strange to me. What are your thoughts?

I have seen both Klasse and Zaino.
Klasse deepens the color. You can see how it makes the color darker and richer. Looks great on my blue truck.
Zaino makes the surface shiny and if you get enough layers on it, then it'll produce a candycoated look. It will keep your paint looking like it wash freshly painted. Great for light colored vehicles.
There are a few synthetics I haven't tried yet but need to like Blackfire and Platinum.

two words "Liquid Glass"
gotta be the best stuff out there IMO. It actually bakes onto your finish and the more coats the better shine and reflection. Goes for 20 bucks a can. (and it contains NO wax)

Just givin ya another option

Is that what you use on your HD in your sig. I've seen Liquid Glass at several stores and thought about trying it at one point.

zaino this zaino that, klasse this klasse that.........that's all i hear. I don't doubt 1 bit that both of these fine waxes and polishes do a great job but i never really seen them so i can't really speak for myself. My main question is the shine must be fantastic and spectacular but how well does klasse and zaino protect and how durable are they?????? seems like they are the "perfect wax" around here
the only downside on my part is $$$$$$$$$$ but that's my problem

I'm going on almost 2 months with Klasse AIO and SG on my '02 F-150, and it looks as shiny as Day1. All I do now is wash her every other week (or every three weeks- whenever I get the time), and the shine is awesome. As far as durability, I'm expecting the Klasse to last 6 months without having to add more, so that's a big plus. And from what I've seen after ~2 months, another 4 months should be no problem. Plus, bug guts, tar, polllen, and other visual air borne contaminants rinse right off the finish without as much as a quick wash. If you cost it out, the $/ounce for Klasse is a great deal, especially if you only have to apply it 2x/year. Now, off the soapbox.

Mainly people like zaino and Klasse and other synthetics is because of how long they last. Synthetics also provide UV protection. Klasse is also cheap when you look at it per coating. It only takes 1oz of Klasse SG for one coat on my truck so one bottle will last you a long time.
If you don't wanna go with the current majority and try zaino or Klasse SG then try a product like Blackfire or Platinum and give us your review.

KYFordFreak, yes i only use liquid glass on my HD. Its got about 13 coats on it. You don't need that many, but the more the better, (well not to an extreme but you get my point). If you have wax on your truck, you'll have to get precleaner to remove all teh wax, cuz L.G. contains no wax and it won't bond to the surface all the way if you don't remove it. But if you do, it would be worth it to do the wax removal then L.G. Anyway, the only thing that my dad used to use on his stingray vettes, and mach mustangs, and chargers, and challengers, etc. is liquid glass. He would always get people asking him what kind of wax he used cuz of the shine. I get the same thing ALL the time with the HD, especially when i enter in a car show, and people get this confused face when i tell them i don't use wax, but i use glass, and then i gotta explain it all.
Anyway, i say its worth your while, and you don't need to buy 40 different products and spend a week trying to figure out what goes on in what order, and another 2 weeks putting it all on. LoL
Here's a pic of the tonneau w/ only 3 or 4 coats that i took early this spring. (and this pic DOESN"T do it justice)
