wash pads or mitts????
ok I need some straightin up on this matter of wash mits and wash pads mmmmmmmmk. First off, what's the difference between the two pads vs. mits. Also what is the softest out there to use to keep microscratches to a minimum??????? Any other pointers are welcome.

Wash Mitt - Can stick you hand inside
Wash Pad - usually a sponge that has some sort of cover over it.
Doesn't matter what you use. Microfiber washmitts will be the softest but they are hard to clean. 100% cotton washmitts would be good. Doesn't really matter though between Microfiber and 100% cotton since the soap will also help lubricate the paint.

ok thanks Intel, appreciate it. UM??? if microfiber is hard to clean then maybe i should run my new one through the washer everytime I use it to wash my truck????? HHHHMMMMMM maybe when i go to wash it in the machine i should wash it alone and not with anything else so dirt from sumthin else don't get into it??

Where to get wash mitts....
I got my microfiber mitts at http://www.properautocare.com. I'm sure they have cotton ones also.

I have the microfiber washmitt from properautocare and it is holding up nicely. Still got my cotton one for backup though.
twistedfinn, lambs wool washmitts are nice but they seem to wear out quickly. From the constant soapy water they are in they lose their oils and become dry and scratchy. For a weekend washer they only last around 6 months. Since I use my wasmitt pretty much everday I go with the microfiber mitts since they last the longest.
