Thumbs up Nu-Finish

I used to use Maguires cleaner/wax, then i got on consumer reports and they rated it among the worst for durability, and they were right! CR rated Nu-Finish paste the best or near the top, but I couldn't find any. I ended up getting an orange bottle of Nu-Finsih liquid, and it is awesome! My truck got waxed last October, and the water still beeds up like the day it was waxed. My wife's (97 Escort) car also got waxed that day, if not for the first time then the second time in its life, and it looked great, too!

Two thumbs up for Nu-Finish!!

Zymol works

Bought two bottles of Zymol cleaner wax at Costo for $11 I think it was. It did remove several small scratches, stains, and abrasions where someone's plastic door edge got up against my door. Looked better than new when I was done, though took lots of elbow grease doing it all by hand. Used a 3M Scotch Brite High Performance Cleaning Cloth to remove the wax/buff.

If it does get on the plastic trim it quickly turns it white. Hard to get off.

Zymol bottle claims "Rated #1 Car Polish" but of course doesn't say who said so, probably their own ad department ;-)
