Hey beastie

The reason Dan8844 is looking at the other sites such as autopia-carport is because Intel is over there sharing his knowledge with all the other unfortunate folks that don't own ford trucks .

Intel486,

I checked them out last week. They have good prices considering the 33.9 oz bottles in the kit, but the shipping charge is a killer ($34 priority from CA to MA). I'll send them a msg to see if they can ship it regular ground instead.

Have you had better luck applying Klasse (and Blitz for that matter), with terry cloths, foam applicators, miracle towels, or something else? I plan on doing the whole thing by hand, since I don't have a mechanical polisher yet.

I read on the autopia forum that some people recommend going a week between SG coats. Have you gone this long and is it worth the curing time? It seems like 24-48 hours is long enough between coats, but I've never used this product before.

Thanks for the info.

Beastie, mY intent was not to demean Intel486. I respect his abilities and knowledge. But I have found an abundance of information on the Autopian website as well.

And by the way, Andrier, there are many Ford truck owners that frequent that site as well. I use Zaino products and love the results on my S'Crew. There are many good options out there, along with many good sources of information.

No disrespect intended to INtel486 or anyone else.

Corrected my Post

But the thought is still the same.

BTW, INtel486 has more posts over there than he does over here. So don't bust my chops for looking elsewhere as well.

Geez, This is nuts. The internet is a tool to be used. It's not an us vs. them thing. I didn't mean to start a war, I simply meant to share some great info with my fellow F150 owners to keep our rides looking as good as they run.

Happy detailing, and happy F150'in

I've never used a foam applicator for applying Klasse. I use Viper Microfiber applicators for applying both Klasse All in one and Klasse sealant Glaze. I then use tascar microfiber towels for buffing Klasse AIO and Klasse SG off.

I wait atleast 24 hours between coats.
