decal removal/sport package opinions
I'm considering a 2001 XLT "Sport" supercab, 5.4, Auto, 3.55, tow pkg. I like the bigger stock tires and rims and the paint is nice but I don't care for the "sport" decals on the bed. Is there any way, short of the body, shop to safely remove the decals?
Any thoughts on the "sport" package. It is really the only truck available i can trade a 98 xlt 4.6 reg cab 5 speed long bed and a 99 outback wagon locally (on an island in southeast alaska).
any thoughts would help
thanks

hey, i could'nt wait. after my last post i went out into the garage and took off my decals. the hair drier worked great. be sure you warm up the decals pretty good. it took about 3 minutes to do both sides. i waxed my quarters afterwards. going to wax the whole thing tomorrow. i had the 4x4 off road stickers ,so the sport ones should be a snap. good luck
