Finally, got her done again.

Red truck has been needing a good clean and wax for too long. That carport sue looked after her in the meantime, and I seldom if ever drive her in the rain. Cleaning this truck is as mch work as any two cars I've ever owned, or worse.

Last night, after WoF went off, I went to work on it, right up until darkness stopped me, was humid enough that it was taking too long to haze over, so I parked it expecting to really have a hard time buffing it today, was worried as doing it once is like doing any car I've ever had twice. I used Meguiars Cleaner Wax as it had some water spots. I thought I was gonna need to break out the buffer.

Today, about 10AM I got after it, was very relieved, job went very ...well, and the "cleaner wax" did good with water spots which might have been largely due to soap from drive through spray washes. It really polished up easily, but yeah, it got some hot out there. No buffer used, just took the dried wax haze off. Then I did the door jambs & trim & bed cover with Eagle 1 Superior NANOwax in a spray bottle, I've had it for a good time now, I like it too. It works on plastic and even worked well on mirrors & side glasses and the sun roof glass. I even used a little in places to see how it did over the cleaner wax. Slick stuff. Used some Aerospace 303 on the sun roof glass seal.

I have reach the decision or conclusion, FORD intended that those fender arch trim pieces be dark grey, it is their "go to" color.

I hade a couple unused bottles of the Meguires as well as the Eagle 1, but next time I'll dip into the Liquid Glass.

Yeah, I'm tired.

Thank You Sir!
Wearing a bit of the Sahara now, but it should blow off a lot on the way to spray wash.
