Great choices. Are you going to clay and polish prior to the LG and Collinite?

Look wise, it's decent. But it lacks longivity and therefore it's kind of a waste of time. You can get better looking results that last 100x longer with other products.

The only pros I can think of for NXT is that it's easy to find in stores and its cheap.

NXT 2.0 is a lot better than the original.

It's recommended you use it, wait 12 hours, then apply a 2nd coat.

I'm sure it is better, and I agree with a lot of things you say. That stuff just sucks as far as durability. I tried to love it for years and it just doesn't hold up no matter how many coats you apply or how you apply it.

I clayed and polished prior to the NXT, so next weekend when I use Dawn to wash, I will LG then Collonite. Assuming it gets here this week. Should I apply by hand or use the Ryobi orbital?

I'd do it by hand because you need to put it on very thin. It's also the easiest stuff ever to work with.

Sat, stripped wax, did a coat of LG, then let it bake in 100 degree sun. This morning at 5, it was almost 80 degrees, did a coat of Collonite 845.

Good choice! Looks great. Both are easy to work with, huh? LG is great cause you can do it in full sun. Collinite needs a little shade though. You can also use LG on chrome. I use it on my wheels and it looks better than actual chrome polish.

Did the same process with mine the other day.

In that type of heat, I would too! Looks awesome! Both of the new products you're now using will outlast nxt by a long shot and look better, too. Good job!

Just curious, what is the point of double waxing? Collinite 835/476s is fantastic. There is no point in waxing over it unless it's something like a carnauba for extra pop. I don't mean to sound rude because that's not how I mean this at all. From all the years I've dabbled in detailing though, I read not to double wax as it's just a waste of product.

No offense taken. I did it because I could, more than anything. But honestly, it has a bit more depth and shine that just the LG.

The rule is you can apply a wax over a sealant but don't apply a sealant over a wax.
NXT is bright and shiny and looks good on white paint but IMHO it has little longevity.

I like bright and shiny on white paint.

Some favorites for white paint is Zaino Z-2 and Coli 845. These are excellent for longevity.
I've been know to apply 3 coats of Z-2 with ZFX in one afternoon and layer Coli the next day.
Collinite waxes are carnauba. I like 476s, 915 and 845. My fav Coli is 915 Marque D'Elegance.

I use Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba Car Wax as my finishing wax.
