3M tape removal suggestions

The tape on one my vent shades has become hard and brittle and has seperated from most of it. I pulled the visor off the truck and now I'm left with the hard crap stuck to the paint. Any ideas on getting it off short of using a razor blade?

Eraser wheels are great for this type of removal. Chuck it up in your drill and get after it. I've used them for taking off pinstripes and dealer decals from the tailgate. No scratches; the worst post-wheel cleanup I've had to do is use mineral spirits and the leftover glue residue.
