Had never seen this statement before, but I never looked for it either.

It seems the DA is a rebranded Shure ( sp? )

The GG foam pad cleaner is clear unlike CG's.
This I just got a bottle from Amazon to try it out, see if it works better than LC snappy pad cleaner.
Microrestore in a spray bottle did not clean pads any better than Snappy in the gritguard pad cleaner bucket.
If Gg is a bust, CG is next. I don't have a current list for a CG order yet.

Plenty did not tell me much. RR came up with the name in the post.

Don't know how accurate this is, CG must dye their stuff a different color for themselves.

The Extreme odor eliminator is orange from CG, GG looks clear is another one I just checked. I have the other CG odor solution, forget the color ( blue / green ?? )

I have no clue one way or the other, I don't generally buy GG stuff anymore, the last order was from Amazon, and with prime it shipped free.

EDIT

Just found one that does look the same.
GG Undercarriage spray looks to be the same color blue as the CG Barebones Undercarriage spray.
If this is the same stuff, it is cheaper to buy it from GG, even with the CG wacky 1 day deal. GG = 35 oz for 15.99, CG wacky 1 day deal on Barebones is 8.95 for 16 oz.
The gal are a different story, GG = 39.99 CG reg $ = 38.66, 2-APR had a sale price of 28.16.

If GG products are rebranded CG stuff, best to check as some are a cheaper price at GG than CG direct, even with some of the wacky 1 day deals ( that seem to go on for months at a time ).

Chemical guys usual make a change before they sell something under their own label. Just like everything else.. Some of their stuff is great, and some is so so at best.

I am one of the few people that isn't a fan of the GG DA. I hate the feel and I hate the balance. I don't care about the power. I don't use a DA for power. If I need power, I will use my Flex, my Makita or my DeWalt.

My biggest complaint about GG's chemicals is they have the shelf life of an over ripe banana. I like their metal polish, it works very well, but it lasts about 4 - 5 months at the most. I have had it mold inside an unopened jar. For the price they charge, it should last as long as it takes me to use. it.

I've had similar experiences as Gip with GG stuff. Like any other product line, they have a winner or two in the mix -- and they have some duds.

I, for one, like the interior cleaner on coated leather -- it really pulls the grime out of the texture of the pleather/leather. Short of that though, I've never been blown away by their stuff. Frankly, I think there are better products on the shelf at WallyWorld than most of the GG stuff that I've tried...

I do not buy into the marketing material posted about the GG ( Shure ? ) DA.

I have seen claims of if the pad is flat you cannot stall it ??
- This makes it sound like a Flex for ~ 35% of the price....

The most powerful claims, I think Megs made same claims with both the G110 and G110V2.
I know the G110 did not work any better than my antique PC7424 that was liberated from the shop. I wanted to believe it was better, I kept using it, but always went back to the PC. I gave it to my sister for applying LSP.

Coated leather, I just a Leatherique run ( with the garbage bag / hairdryer sweat box ) on my seat cushion cover to remove some of the creases. It works for that, but I also got a ton of grime out of them as well.
The deeper ones really needed another round.
I opted to install my extra cushion cover I got some time back from new take offs with a new cushion and heating element from Tasca.
- Figure I got 6 years out of the factory one, I can go new now, and sweat box that one while it is out of the truck.
