Help with removing adhesive

Well I am stuck right now so any help would be appreciated. I had vinyl on my rockers and I decided to change the vinyl color. I took off the vinyl and it left behind some adhesive residue that I have been unable to get off. I tried 3M Adhesive Remover and a myriad of home solutions to no avail.
Any suggestions on how to remove the adhesive?
I can get pics if that would help too
Thanks in advance

The 3M stuff is the best I have used to date and it does take some elbow grease and work to the glue off.

I usually have good results with WD-40.

google 3M Stripe Off Wheel 07498

get one, follow instructions. Don't use it if you have lacquer paint, but if you have factory 2003 paint, you are fine.

the 3m will work, you'll just need to use a lot of it
