I flew down in 09 from NYC to attend this event. This was a year before Mike Phillips was working for Auto Geek but was hosting a class for Meguiars there. I really enjoyed myself. Later on that night a huge group of us went to this bar/restaurant and had food, what a blast I had. If I can make it again this year I will come. Will there be a detailing class?

Well we have lots going on both days of Detail Fest, but on Saturday you will get to listen to the great sounds of the Critters!

The Critters is the hit-record group from the 1960's that rocked and romanced their national and international audiences with hit songs that are still being played around the world today.

As a pivotal member of three of the recording industry’s legendary hit-makers, THE CRITTERS, FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS, and TOMMY JAMES and the SHONDELLS, Don Ciccone is a major influence on America’s Top 40 music scene.

Now, united with other veterans of the recording industry – Albert Miller, Lenny Rocco and Milt Koster, Don Ciccone returns to his roots as the original hit lead singer/songwriter of The Critters.

From their hit singles, “Younger Girl” & “Mr. Dyingly Sad” (voted into the Top 100 Songs of all time – WCBS radio), through the chart busting songs of Tommy James & the Shondells, “Mony Mony” & “Hanky Panky”, etc., to the Four Seasons’ mega-hits, “Who Loves You” and “December ’63 (Oh, What a Night)”, The Critters bring to life A History of Hits as no other entertainers can.

You will get to see them at Detail Fest play just for you!!!

We just received word from Forrest Tosie from Mothers that Mothers lead chemist Craig Burnett will be at Detail Fest.

You may have seen Mr. Burnett on Mothers television commercials.

YouTube - Untitled

World famous Craig Burnett, better known as "Mr. Chemist" in the Mothers television commercials, will be attending DetailFest at AutoGeek.

I know, I know; you're beside yourself, and lost for words, yet giddy with excitement.

Craig brings a lifetime of experience in formulating appearance
products and humor that only someone surrounded by chemicals for prolonged periods can truly understand and appreciate.

It doesn't get any better than this. See you in about a month.

Yes there will be detailing classes. They just have not released the details of when and how you can sign up for them yet.

I did hear that in addition to Mike Phillips, Joe Fernandez from Superior Shine and Renny Doyle from Attention to Details will be VIP guest Instructors.

I wish I had the money to attend. I'm sure it will be a blast.

Detail Fest 2011 is less than a week away!

Metro Racing is located in Stuart, Florida in a large 10,800 square foot facility large enough to store their transporter. They have a complete fabrication shop. The team has over 100 years combined experience and is capable of complete restoration of any type race car.

Metro Racing Systems

We're very excited to have Metro Racing at Detail Fest this year along with a couple of their high performance race cars.

No, you can't take any of them for a spin, but you can look!

First is the Corvette C5R

1966 Lola T70 Mk II Spyder (SL71/36) is one of the 67 original Spyders built. It has a lightweight composite body mounted on a steel and aluminum monocoque chassis and is powered by a mid-mounted, blueprinted 350-inch (5.7-liter) Chevy with a Hewland LG500

DetailFest will be broadcast via our Online Classes website and in order to watch you'll need to first register.

It's FREE to watch the Live Broadcast of DetailFest but you cannot watch until you first register.

Step-by-step How to Register and then what to "click" on to watch the Live Broadcast.

Note: For whatever browser you use, Cookies must be turned on.

Step 1

Click this link - Autogeek's Online Classes Website

Step 2

Click on "My Account", this will take you to a page where if you're new to our Online Classes Website, you'll have the option to create a "Register a New Account".

Step 3

Fill out the online form to create a new account. Be sure to type your passwords in the same on both lines or your form will not go through.

After you completely fill out the forum and place a "Check Mark" in the "I'm over 18 years old box", then click on the "Create Account Button"

Step 4

If you did everything right, you'll now see a screen that says you have successfully created your new account.

Then click on the "Events" button, this will take you to the main index page for available videos.
