Welcome 60877 (Ron),
Yes there are drain holes in the front end of the bed. I think we all have the same problem with water collecting in the bed liner. I think I will just drill some holes in it. Or park facing up hill

Cool

Hmmm....With a sprayed-in liner, you don't have this problem.

And if we rode bycycles, none us us would have any of these problems (or thrills).

I remember back in 1990 my dad bought a new supercab Ford. He put one of the plastic bedliners in it. I used to jack up the rear end and fill the box with water and call it my "poor man's pool" Needless to say, dad wasn't impressed!

Solution is to get rid of the liner... it's doing its job. If you put holes in it, you're just encouraging the water to travel between the liner and the bed to help rust it out. Let the ice form... it'll help with traction anyhow. If it really bothers you, dump a shovel full of salt on it and it'll never freeze again, though my recommendation is a spray-in.

Post water in bed

I own an f150 step side 2000 and do not want to put a cover on the bed but have a bed liner. My problem is that the truck sits up in the back ( as it should) and water collects in the bed behind the cab. In Canada it freezes. I was thinking of putting a drain plug in the bed behind the cab. Is there a product on the nmarket specifically for this. Any comments would be much appreciated. I did not see the bed before the liner was put in and i am wondering if drain holes exist in the metal already ?
