The Griot's Garage 6" buffer (2nd Gen) is flat-out the best DA out there now.

5.5" pads are what I'd go with.

i clay'ed the hood last night and WOW, it really needed it! im starting on another panel or 2 tonight then im going to wax the areas i clay bar'ed until i order the polisher and pads (once i get recommendation on the pads).

 

order placed. i haven't told the other half yet but she will be happy to see her car shine again!
i ordered a 7424XP with 6 5.5 inch pads, m105,m205 and some meguiars M97 glaze.
