2010 Camaro

This is a neighbors daughter's car. Wanted to try it out...had some micro marring and some bird poop etching and a few Texas pinstripes. Over all the car is well cared for and the owner and daughter are car people. I got a tad frustrated b/c the paint was harder than i expected. I tired SSR2 and it didn't hit it, in fact it induced more marring using a white LC CCS pad. Then I tried 205 with a white LC pad and it didn't get it out Tried 105 on a yellow megs pad, and it marred the finish too much...then tried Menzera SIP on a Black Megs pad..bingo, best combo...I couldn't get the 105 and PFW to work for me either so I stayed with the SIP and the Black Megs.

Process:

Wheels:
APC+ and wells/Hperdresing on wells, Optimum Tire Bond on Tires

Paint:
Wash, PB SSS and Wash, Foam Gun
Megs Blue Clay, Megs #34 Lube
Menzerna SIP with Black Megs finish pad on Flex, ,speed was 5
PB Black Hole, Blue Lake, Speed 4, Flex
2 Coats of Wet Obsession.
Stoners on Glass
PB NLD on interior parts
PB Leather Stuff on seats

Befores:
After wash

In work area dressing on wells, before tape and clay

99% of the paint was in this condition

Another view with the bird poo etching

My attempt at a 50/50 shot, left side done, right not doen

Now we are getting to it

Shameless for 2S (Check out those speakers in the ceiling!

Another shameless

Me and Mallory

With Brinkman

Too bad it was cloudy

Delivered

Two Thumbs up from a happy owner!

I did learn a lot from this car. I am still trying to figure out i induced instant holograming when I pulled out the Makita with a black LC finish pad and 105....I had to fix that.
