I'm pretty sure that Meguire's Gold has a small amount in it. Regardless, it is very good, and available at Walmart for about $6 for a huge jug.Originally Posted by ajaj

Gold class is my favorite and I love rain x wash and wax and armor-all wash and wax is good too
Meguiars has a new wash/wax product that works better than Zip Wax or any of that other crap. Get that and some of their new spray wax.

^That.
It is really slick (better than Duragloss), and very sudsy. Has a mango/tropical smell, which can get kinnda strong at times.
Kinnda pricey at 9 dollars a half gallon (I think), but I think it's worth it. I think you use 5 caps per gallon (1 oz/gallon).
It'll be a huge step over the TW stuff you're using, that's for sure.

I have Lumadar do a full detail on mine every winter when I'm out in San Diego - he uses M21 2.0 for a LSP at my request. This is basically the same as NXT 2.0 but optimized for DA application. He showed me the new wash/wax and the spray wax when I was out there this last winter and I'm sold. I normally wash with ONR, but I'm now using the spray wax instead of UQD like I used to after the wash job - it goes on and off just as easily and quickly as UQD. He told me what sets the Megs wash/wax apart from all the other stuff is the wax part is not water soluble, it's held in suspension. I'd guess that if you used the wash/wax when you washed and finished up with the spray wax, you would only have to do a full wax job once a year. You would probably want to clay it and use a cleaner by that time anyway.

Meguiar's Ultimate Wash is the only Meguiar's wash product that has wax in it. Unlike all of the other wash and wax products, the wax in the Meguiar's one actually works; and well!
