detailing tip of the week: "for those that do car shows or just simply want to use no water to clean your rim & tires on the spot, we have a solution...use any citrus base product like carpet cleaner or _______ blended with water on the rim & tire, wipe off with a microfiber towel to a perfect clean surface" app...ly more if needed. this process is good on any type of finishes.

bugs

Before I go out on the highway in the summer on a trip I sparay the front of the vechile with pam, the bugs just wash off!!!! It is a standard item to carry all summer. Don't forget to reapply after a heavy rain. Only downfall is, the dust sticks to it! But your going to wash it anyway...........

Whats up with people wanting to put food products on their trucks? Peanut butter on the trim? Pam on the front?

Come on people... A good wax as a protective layer does wonders

Peanut butter on the trim is to remove dried on wax, not to protect.

It works very well. I have been using it for 30 years, and have never found anything that works better ..

The one trick I used for years that protects against salted roads on chrome/uncoated aluminum rims is...

after washing & waxing, a very thin coat of vaseline protects the rims against alll winter elements and washes off easily with hot soapy water.
