I live in Upper Michigan and every spring i have had to wet sand my rims (Mickey T classic II), I found a Product called New Aluminum Cleaner (By Lanes car care products) Its an acid based cleaner so dont use it if you have coated rims, but it worked wonders on my rims, 20 min total time cleaning then just a quick polish. And best of all no wet sanding.

Ahh, man... come on. You really think I don't look at registered email addresses? Really? Wow. *shakes head*

When washing a vehicle its best to use the two bucket method with Grit Guards in the bottom of each bucket. You have one bucket that is filled with soapy water for washing and one bucket with clean water as a rinse for your wash mitt.
It also helps to have a dedicated wash mitt for your wheels and one for your paint so you dont run the risk of marring the paint.

Guess thats what I am doing wrong... I use AT LEAST 75 for a complete job. No joke.
Detailing tip of the week " when applying dressing to your interior vinyl apply gently as if you did with wax in a circular motion but to reduce it from attracting dust after applying the dressing, simply wipe down with a microfiber towel to give it a fresh look"
