Concentrated glass cleaner ?

I'm sure the Meguairs is great stuff, but unlike tire dressings, I can't see one being so much better than the other.

Problem is, I have not found concentrated glass cleaner of "any brand" locally ?

I'm tired of spending like $4 to $5 dollars for a 32 ounce bottle of Windex (the type they advertise to be safe on tinted glass... No ammonia I guess) especially how fast I go through it. I'd rather spend $10 on something that would mix up 2....or 5... or 10 gallons..... and to be able to buy it locally.

Any suggestions ?

Thank you,
Fish

......then get the Wally-World .96 cent empty spray bottles, and keep one in the car, one in the truck, one in the room, one in the garage...... refills being cheap and easy.

Are you referring to Megs D-line Glass Cleaner? Have you tried it? For $6.99 you can get the 32oz concentrate in a silk screened bottle with a sprayer. Awesome deal considering it needs to be diluted down to 10 parts water, 1 part concentrate.

Only catch, must be bought online.

Unless you run a big detailing biz i doubt you'll be able to use up all 32 ounces of concentrate.

Yes, that's the stuff. I'm sure it's great, but can't a person buy any kind of concentrated glass cleaner locally ?

If I were making an ADS order any time soon, I'd definately add some of the Meg's glass cleaner.... but I don't know how long that will be.......

Hmmm,
Fish

Stoner's Invisable Glass is as good as it gets and I find it everywhere. Maybe even Wally World, I know it is in Target.

I'm currently playing around with Surf City Garage glass cleaner. It seems to be working well so far. But as far as glass cleaners go, most of the bigger named ones seem to work identically. You could always just purchase large items from ADS that tend to go fast. Grab a 5 gallon container of HD and APC+. That's the stuff I go through like water so I buy by the 5 gallon container now. With Rick charging shipping based on the amount you spend and not weight, it's a great way to buy the stuff.

This is what my friend recently got. Link

A couple people said it was good, though I, nor my friend, have given it a test run.

Auto Zone carries it also.

Water/vinegar and newspaper.
Most newspapers print now with soybean ink. You'll leave more on the glass than you're taking off!

But the Stoners is not a concentrate, right ? If not, I don't even want to try it. I might like it too much.

That Home Depot link didn't work..... and the Lowes stuff.... Damn ! Surely they must make a smaller container ?

I'll look and see the next time I'm at either of these places.....

Thanks guys,
Fish

You can buy Megs professional line items locally. Go to the Megs site and use their vendor search. It will list the paint shops in your area that carry their professional line. More expensive locally then online but you don't pay shipping.

Ah, looks like Home Depot website is down? Here's a pic of it:

When the HD website is back up, you can search for ZEP glass cleaner, and it should pop up.
