Quick Detailer and a toothbrush.

Sometimes I tape off areas with blue painters tape.

Dupont grease and wax remover works very well, but don't hit your paint with it unless you want to re-wax.

Just be careful with even that blue painters tape. It pulled up some paint on my viper hood's "speaker" grills.:o

I use Lexol on the plastic every so often. When I get wax on the plastic pieces it wipes right off.

I find that when buffing off with a microfiber cloth early enough, it removes it good. I'm sloppy sometimes and surprised that weeks later there is a slight if at all wax film on any plastic. I've been using Eagle One Nanowax for the last few years so that could be a reason, just different kind of wax. My dad swears by Mother's back to black, me I don't care for it. I also use a detailers brush flat or on it's side in circular motions with water, seems to work ok.

Back to Black is okay for wax removal, but that's about it.

I tape all the black plastic areas off. It takes a little time but it makes it a lot easier to apply and remove cleaners and waxes. Of course I never use to do this until I got hooked on this damn site

The last time I detailed my F150 before I traded it I had everything taped off and my neighbor asked what color I was going to paint my truck.

And you are going to have a streaky mess after the first rain. You will need to completely buff the crap off if you use it. You won't need to use so much if you use a toothbrush or detailing brush.
