Trying to polish Diamond Tread Aluminum.

My diamond tread toolbox is started to look very dull. I would like to restore it to its original shine. Any tricks to this?

Diamond plate sucks to polish by hand. I've used a Mother's Powerball before but the diamond plate does a number to the Powerball and you still have to remove the polish by hand.

Edit:

I was looking around for what others were suggesting because I really don't like polishing diamond plate. It looks fantastic when it's all polished up so I wanted to try to find some information out for myself. I came across this. Polishing Out Diamond Plate. There are a couple of ideas there. I think I'm going to give the rotary a try with a wool pad and see how it goes when I get a chance.

Thanks guys. I have one of those Powerballs but never even thought of using it to polish the diamond tread. I may try that since I already have it. If that doesn't work I will just have to suck it up and go about it the old fashion way..... by that I mean pay to have my truck detailed and tell them to polish it. hahaha

Adam's Metal Polishes are excellent. I've used Heavy Metal before and really liked it. I have all of the English Custom Polishes and I'm not extremely satisfied with them. Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, that small container of paste, is another great product. I recently got an order in for Optimum's new metal polish but with the weather I haven't had a chance to try it.

I don't have a buffer..... yet. I think I will have to get one now. That combo of cleaners/polishers did an amazing job.
