I only got to buffing the tailgate so far. I started there since it's the worst. Hope to finish the rest tomorrow.

After

Before. Marring from my horse trailer cord.

After

I used M95 on LC white via Makita, follow with Menz 106 on LC green via Makita.

Looks too good. Now you have to do the rest of the truck. It's kind of like to Golden Gate bridge. Once you finish it is time to start over again.

Took a couple pics today. Pulled it outside to check it before applying LSP. Still need to treat the trim.

Is that easy to do and or learn? The truck I just bought has scratches like that all over the truck. looks like it was washed with a dirty mit or towel. What you did there looks great! Care to give me a quick lesson in what to use?? Thanks

Here's what you do

1 Read the Detailing sticky here

2 Purchase the How to use a PC dvd from autodetailingsolutions.com AKA ADS
Especially if you plan on getting into using a machine rather than by hand

3 take pics of your truck and post them here so we can discuss what products we think may work.

Great! Thanks alot. The paint shops around here are all crooks. My best estimate was 1600 to buff out the clearcoat. Now, I'm no painter, But it doesn't cost 1600 bucks to buff a cleatcoat. I'll try to get some pics of over the weekend. Thanks Again!

Hey hwm3, who makes that grille on your truck? It looks great. I'm looking at a full replacement from Carriage Works but still unsure if I can put a logo on top of it. I need a brand new logo as well.

It's a Roush grill. Comes with a bracket to reuse the stock logo.
