ooops will work its safe and works cpl yrs ago someone took a spray can and went down the side of my gf car....... at the time i never used it bought a can and the paint came right off without hurting the paint !!

i just had to redo mine,rubbing alcohol and elbow grease will do it.
it will take some time

goo gone says on bottle that it won't harm paint. Hasn't hurt my black truck, if it had I'm sure I would have noticed. I notice dust 10 minutes after washing it. Black is not forgiving.
