Detailing Nightmare.......

OK, ling story short......My wife's Black 1998 BMW 323is got hit with white overspray 2 weeks ago. The guy that did it finally filed a claim, so his insurance set up a deal with Nationwide Overspray, they got 65 cars. They are working on her car this morning. Here are a couple pics.......

Roof

Hood

rear

Trunk.......Me just messing around.

Good thing for me is this guy also uses Zaino products....I'll see how he does when she gets home from work today.

Hey, it matched your garage floor!...

Pretty bad overspray...but it looks like the Zaino should work. BMW clearcoat (especially on black or metallic black) is notoriously touchy.

Looks like what our vehicles looked like here when we got hit with overspray. They hired out detail masters to clean all the vehicles. The detail people gave us a cash out option if we wanted to clean it ourselves. I took that option and got $300 out of it.

The car got cleaned up yesterday, it looks great. They are set up at my wife's work, so they did it in the morning. I'll have to get a couple clean pics up later....
