Expensive Waxes !?
What color was the paint and did you do anything prior to putting the wax on the paint? I'm willing to bet that the NXT looked the best because of it's slight cleaning properties compared to everything else which are strictly waxes.
Paint was black. Only prep work was claying the truck (for the first time ever). Yeah, you're right about the cleaning stuff.
Most expensive wax I own is Trade Secret carnuba wax, I think it's like $40 to $45 for an 8 oz thing of it. I'm not an expert on car wax, have always stuck to the basics, but heard of this wax when I had my last truck. So far this is about the easiest wax I've ever used. Also it goes a long way, I've been on the same container and done my truck and my wife's suv about 5 times each now. Just about gone though, time for some more!!!!
This is the first wax like this I've used. Before this the best wax I had was Meguir's gold class......I don't have too much experience with other brands, but I know this is about the easiest one so far......best thing about it is it doesn't leave any white residue on black plastic parts. I also tried it on my windows, just the back and sides of course. It did a good job on them and took out those darned water spots.......
