In either case you'd have to wait for the bottom application to cure before putting anything on top. But I believe the NXT would remove most or all of the #26 anyway.

Not sure what "after polish befor nxt" means.

I'm guessing he means after the polishing step.

I think you should be OK just putting the #26 over the NXT. Granted it might not offer as much protection as if had let it cure, but I'm sure it'll offer some. I'd just wait as long as possible.

I'm confused. Regardless, I'm going to answer this the best way that I can ...

Polish > #21/NXT > #26/Gold Class. Just remember that you need to wait 12 hours after applying the #21 or NXT before applying the #26 or Gold Class.

I wish that were the case. However NXT and #21, like other synthetic sealants, are tricky with their cure times. If you don't let it cure for at least 10 hours than you're just wasting your time and product. All you would be doing is ensuring proper coverage. 10-12 hours is really required IMO.

The curing time so the polymers left from the wax can bond with the paint (something like that) but meguiars says leave 12 hours to be safe and make sure it all cures. Some polymers may take 5 minutes to cure but there are still many others to cure. If you really do not have too much time apply nxt or 21 then go do as much else as you can spending up time and then last apply your 26 or another coat of nxt or 21.
I am on my phone now but there is good article on meguiars online about this. I'll post it later.

That is the correct order. In order for the sythetic to adhear correctly you don't want any carnaubas under it. synthetic then carnauba if you want to use both.

if you do not have time to wait prior to topping with the #26 .. then just apply the NXT.

if you can only do one of the two, the NXT is the better choice for durability.

Yessir. But you'll love the outcome if you top #26 over NXT the following day!
