I'll take cream cheese on my bagel.

As for the org. posters question, Id go with a used g100 to start with.
LOL, well I guess I have to side on the experience side on this one. Since I have several Menzerna products and not one of them has dusted on me yet. Looks like on that massive thread of 5 posts, the elder there said to use less product. Hmm, have we heard that before?

And FYI, its much hotter here in Tejas than in your hood.

if you want to see dust, try some Optimum Polish.

Keys to minimize dusting.
1. Amount of product used
2. Proper pad care, removing old product
3. Time to breakdown fully
4, Speed of pad on surface
5. Surface temp too hot
6. improper pad prep, not preloaded

I could make up some more if needed...
7. Experience of detailer
8. amout of hair the detailer has or has not....
9. Number of kids the detailer has, thus the time factor
10. amount of beer consumed

I suppose we are just going to agree to disagree. FYI, the products in question were SIP and 85RD, neither of which you had metioned you tried.

I went to the Megs open garage last night and one of the guys said that the PC will slow down and stop with pressure and thus doesn't do its proper job in rubbing in and breaking down the product, where as the G110 won't do that because it has a clutch or something like that. Can anyone shed some light on this. I am not advanced enough for a Flex, but I want to know whether to get a G110 or a PC

G100 = PC7424

Both do not benefit from pushing down hard. Just allow the weight of the machine onto the paint.

Any particular Reason the PC over Megs. I know you say that they are equal, but I just want to make sure I buy the right one (it is a lot of money for me at least).

Rick at ADS has a pretty good deal going on with the G110
1 Meguiar's G110 Polisher (1 Year Warranty)
1 Meguiar's W67DA Velcro Backing Plate.
1 Meguiar's W8006 Foam Polishing Pad
1 Premium 16" x 16" Microfiber Towel
For $150

I am thinking about going with that?

Also a side question ( I tried searching, but didn't find an exact answer) What types of pads would I use for these products (this what I am guessing)
m83 = Cutting Pad (black)
m80= polishing pad (yellow) or Cutting Pad (black)
m09= polishing pad (yellow)
D151= polishing pad? (yellow)
m21= finishing pad (tan)
m26= finishing pad (tan)

My personal recommendation is to still go with the PC7424. I don't like the G110 but that's my personal opinion.

Pad choices look good. Don't forget to pick up a few extra pads. Trust me, do it now. I just don't like the way the G110 feels in your hand. If you haven't felt it in your hands, I wouldn't buy it without knowing. The PC/G100 fits your hands perfectly. All of us G100 owners got kind of screwed, too. We were supposed to have a Lifetime Warranty. Well guess what we get if ours breaks? A G110 and that one only comes with a 1 year warranty ... So much for that ...

I tried out the G110 at the meguiars open garage but I have never tried the PC. I didn't think that it felt too odd in my hands but then again I haven't ever tried the PC. Where is the best place to get a PC online. I think Rick's G110 deal is just pretty good but i may be wrong.
