The effect of Orange Peel is dependent on many factors when applied at the factory. Temp, Humidity etc.

I can show you many different cars/brands with Orange Peel. I take close ups of every car I work on.

Here is a picture of a 65K BMW door

Tell me what brand of car this is? (the white one)

Hint, its 1/3 the price of the 65K BMW.

I think I would take Attworth up on his apprenticeship offer.
Is that Miller Lite?

I'll probably have some to post next week. I did an F250 crewcab, a 30' horse trailer (complete PITA), and a Suzuki Aerio this week. No decent pics though.

Blue - You may not have noticed the orange peel because your paint was too far gone on the Jetta. Before JP did my truck, he thought it had the best paint of "any Ford made." After we detailed it, I never heard that again, and I started noticing the orange peel really badly. Correct me if I'm wrong JP, but since the imperfections are gone, it's really easy to see the only one that's non-correctable (orange peel.)

Trust what JP (RollingRock,) says - he's a very smart guy.

Yeah your paint was pretty damn good for Ford, JWools and your's are pretty darn close in quality. For sure two of the best paints I've seen. My brother has two Rovers, they have pretty good paint too. But still have Orange Peel on them.

As for being smart. Oh go on....

Meh.. My brother even notices the peel. It's pretty bad. I guess I haven't seen a lot of F150s up close.

JP, I could stroke your ego all day.. But Sam might kick my ***.

Hmmm.... this notion of buying product makes me wonder something... JP-- will you let me know when the goodies come in?

BTW-- did I ever show you the new toy on my truck?

I finally found pics of my old Jetta's. I thought i had lost them all when I moved my website but I finally found and old backup. I guess I was brand loyally blind. They do in fact have orange peel. God as my witness, I never saw it. Most of my vehicles have been black and my Jetta was pearl coat over black. Maybe that made it less noticeable and so I never noticed it but it had it none the less.

So, as a result, I will not be trying to get rid of the orange peel off my truck. I will however take better care of the truck than i did the car since the truck is a purchase and I like it better than the car.

That reminds me. I was at the store the other day and found Rolling Rock beer. Is it any good? I notice you drink Miller as well and I am not a big fan of Miller. I was very close to buying some RR, kind of wish I had now. You near Dallas? I ain't above buying a case of beer!

My two standby beers are RollingRock and Miller Lite...they shouldn't be used together.

Try some RR, you may like it. Some do some don't. Just Detailing products...
