I think I have some pics of mine too. I will see if I can find them. They weren't custom but no they had no orange peel. I powder coat as a hobby and I almost never get orange peel. Proper powder coating will not yield orange peel. Most of my projects come out smooth as glass.

Hey Blue, you should drive down to Ft Worth and come visit me. RollingRock was nice enough to help me out when I was a newb, and I'd love to return the favor.

Shoot me a PM or email.

Sorry Blue150 but VW's don't come with Powder Coated paint, maybe on some parts but not body panels.

Unless you are driving a Phaeton, you had single stage paint on on that car.

Powder Coated wheels, calipers etc...sure.

Hmm.. well, I was going off of what VW told me. Never really bothered to verify it though. I wasn't into powder coating when I bought the car yet so its possible it wasn't. I just kinda took it with a grain of salt at the time. Although, it did not have orange peel, not like my F150 does. I still don't get orange peel when I powder though. Now, my wheels were aftermarket and they were PC'd too. The clear was smooth but the black had orange peel. I find that PC get orange peel when the item is either cured too thin/too hot or too thick/ too cool. If that makes sense. lol

How does he do those logos? They look like they are raised pretty high.

They're not that high really. Looks really good in person though. Better than any picture can show. Definitely top notch

Gotcha. The one on the back looks pretty raised. I'm guessing he does a thick vinyl sticker?

They are sprayed with Line-X, not stickers. They just don't have texture on them....it looks much better in person.

TruckGasm also just shot my new Truck Box matched it with Line-X Xtra too.

I'll get a close up for you Thump....

Thump, as you can see it is raised, but ever so slightly, the reason it looks like that is b/c it has no Line-X texture on it.

And the box Truckgasm did

I knew they were under the Line-X but that's what I was referring to. If it was sprayed on top of just a thick vinyl sticker. I know some places use magnets. It looks good !! Don't worry about getting more pictures though. I don't need any Line-X for my Mustang.
