White Diamond Test Results, Not a Ford

Last night after I did my truck I got to play with the Neighbors Nissan Morano.

Not sure what color it was but it was in bad shape. I didn't get a single photo of before so it will be hard to appreciate what transformation I did on this car. The rear deck was scrached and marred to holy heck from strollers, cargo etc...but I got them all out.

Products used:
Washed with Foam Gun
Purple Clay, (when blue isn't enough)
SSR1 with Green Lake VC pad Flex DA
PB White Diamond, White Lake VC pad, Flex (this is a great new product!!)
Nattys Blue, LSP by hand
Interior, PB Natural Look Dressing and Leather Stuff

Results: Amazing, the car owner started crying, she said she forgot what the car looked like. She didn't realize there was metallic in the finish.

cont....

Well, I am outside right now, so most of the pictures are washed out by the BEAUTIFUL day's sunlight (yep, I'm out by the pool to do my studying...)

But what I could see was impressive. But then again, we have all come to expect it from you, JP.

Glad it was rewarding for the both of you. I bet her reaction REALLY made it worth it.

That looks great. I think White Diamond will be next on my list to order.

Just got in after taking care of a fire (explained below)... Looks freaking awesome, JP... I REALLY like it...

BTW--ibcop-- is that a Springfield Armory XD-series pistol? If so, what caliber? I have the XD40 and absolutely LOVE it...

Okay-- this guy in the podunk town where I work (but thankfully live in the adjacent town) has a car in the back with no engine, miscellaneous wires everywhere, etc-- junker car. Somehow, it caught on fire... Our best bet is that he was "racing with the pros" while watching NASCAR on TV... In any case, it was REALLY funny... (for those who havent clued in, I am a Vol. FF)

EDIT: I just saw your gallery, ibcop, so never mind. That's not an XD.

I was going to do a clay, #80,#9,NXT2.0,#16. What could I replace to use White Diamond? #9? Silver Truck.

Sounds like it. You still would need the clay, 80, NXT, and #16, so in my best guess... Unless you have to add it somewhere, but I am 99.9% sure you would replace the #9...

NOTE: I havent used White Daimond or read anything more than this thread about it. My experience with Black diamond is virtually identical...

yes.

Remember this product can be used as a "in between" full details and as a pure glaze to enhance. (I don't feel comfortable putting product on my paint without claying it first)

It says right on the bottle, allow to dry to a haze, remove and top with sealant or wax.

If you are going to do the above steps and sub WD for M#9, I will be very interested to see how the NXT reacts to it.

Well 2.0 is a sealant right? Could I skip the 2.0 and go right into the #16.

Sure you could.

Sealing is an optional step.
