Short Poorboys Black Hole review/test

I did a quick test thus a quick review of the new PB BH.

First impressions, it is dark. Smells great, typical from PB
Tools used. Black Lake Finish Pad, Flex set to speed 3

Before photo of holograms and micro marring.

After:

continued on next post.

cont.,..

driver door, lost the sun but nice pop

Pillars

After driver door

Realize that this was a very quick test. That being said, my first impressions of the product are very high. It did indeed conceal and fill if you will in addition add some great depth to the paint.

Heck the micro marring could be gone all together since I used the Flex. Speaking of the Flex, the speeds are a tad different than a DA. Speed 4 on the Flex is probably equal to speed 6 on a PC/DA but there is more movement so it appears that its not moving as fast as the DA would be if that makes sense.

Love the Flex, love the PB BH.

Looks great! I am thinking about trying the PB stuff for white paint since there are 4 white vehicles in the family.

I have read that speed 3 on Flex = Speed 6 on the 7424..which leads me to a question...

Why so fast?
Did you work this glaze like a polish? Its obvious you didnt just wipe on and wipe off....which i have always wondered how folks like to apply glazes

Take #9 for example, in the times i have used it i worked it like a polish, but i also here you can just wipe on and wipe off a glaze and the filling properties will be just as effective...thoughts?

I don't think that 3 is 6...however, I have a total of about 15 min experince with the Flex so far. Speed 3 on the Flex isn't that fast at all or at least it doesn't seem that fast. The PB BH is pretty thick stuff, after blotting on the surface, i worked it with using the variable speed trigger (which is super cool btw) and did a 12x12 section. Worked it pretty good. It wasn't wipe on wipe off.

I have never used Megs #9 so I cannot get you an honest comparison.

I had one hour to play with the stuff and I did 2 doors and the pillar and my front QTR panel in 30 min.

Stud

I just did a quick video....of each speed, its a little corny and you may not get an idea how fast it is, but I thought it might help understand how fast it is.

4 is pretty fast on the Flex, 5 and 6 are really fast.

That's a good video, really.

You should do those counters while you're at it.

Thanks Boss, those holograms are what I needed a little push on.
