Washing cleaning towels

Is there anything special to do when cleaning your towels, especially with the microfibers?

When I'm done using mine, I usually soak them in a bucket of water with a drop of soap for a day... then I wash them in the machine with normal detergent, but absolutely no bleach or no fabric softener. I'm sure that you will get other opinions on this though...

Not to be an a-hole but if you do a search on this topic in the CD section you will find many, many threads about this topic. Very detailed too.

Cheers

Machine wash with hot/cold water and regular Tide with no additives. No fabric softners either. During the rinse cycle one tbls of distilled white vinegar per towel, etc.
