If you ever decide to try the mitts, consider picking up one or two of his Monterey WW towels... softest WW towels (along with Pakshak's Ultra Softs) that I've ever used. They are not quite as absorbent as some of the denser weaves, but much softer. Heck, there soft enough, and safe enough to use with QD... and I've used them that way (smaller ones).
