Yellow bug will not come off WTF?

I have never had something I could not get off my paint on any of my vehicles, but there is a new bug that splatters yellow and instantly stains the paint, over time it will wear off, but I dont want to wait, here is list of products tried.
- Wurth body solvent
- Meguiars body solvent
- claybar
- clean, polish, wax with DA
- goo gone
-bugs b gone
- bug and tar remover(turtle wax and lifter 1 brand)
- acetone

***Any ideas of anything else I can try?
**Anyone else had this bug problem?

Actually, this bug is not "new". As much as I don't like to have to use solvent based bug removers, there are times when we simply have to. The Gunk remover works pretty good. You could try a little acetone.
Keep trying to get this stuff off. The longer it is on the paint surface, the more likely it is to turn into etching, and then you'll really have something to deal with.

BTW, I am all about prevention. I have to assume that this bug splatter is either on the front bumper, grill area, or low on the hood. I would recommend, if you are not currently doing so, to keep heavier than normal wax on these areas. I live in North Central Alabama, so I am aware of the bug splatter situation. It's what we get for living in a rain forest, but I do love it so. Again, heavy, heavy wax on those areas once you get 'em clean. You'll find it easier to remove this stuff in the future.

Oh......Congratulations on the Iron Bowl win......from a Vols fan.

A dryer sheet in some water and rub it on the spots. Works for me.

if all else fails squirt some wd40 on that bug, not pleasant for the wax or paint, but with everything you have tried theres no wax left in that area anyways.

3m came out with a clear tape like sheet that you can put on the front end and it keeps bugs off the paint.

Keep in mind, BUGS CAN ETCH paint. My hunch is that you're seeing etching.

I agree with RockPick, it sounds like the bugs are etched into the paint. It might require wetsanding, but I would get someone that knows exactly what they are doing to wetsand.

want that bug off?

Use Lacqour Thiner, then wash off and rewax....warning only use if you have clear coat on that area and do not bear down, it won't take much pressure and its safe if you use your head.

Sounds like everybody who knows these "bugs" hates them... so how did they get the name "Love Bugs"?

Anyhow, if you can't get them off with any of the suggestions you've heard here, you've got problems.

Like RP said... maybe etching?
