303 protectant and new tool box

Installed my new tool box and applied the 303
protectant on the bed-liner. The picture I dunno,
but trust me, it was very UV'd grey before hand. 303 = Good stuff.

Looks good...the box fits nicely. That 303 protectant is good stuff. I used to put that on my tonneau cover of my old truck. My brother has never used any on his though and it's like 7 years old and still looks new so I stopped using it lol. Nice looking truck.

Thanks.....I was a little skeptical of the 303,
but everything I read about it indicated it
was true to form. I didn't even wipe it.
I just sprayed it on and let it dry. I couldn't
believe it. The bed looked brand new. Granted
this stuff is expensive, but well worth it. At least
I haven't used anything like it before. I mean:
if there is something better, I'd like to know
what it is. It's one of those "holy crap" Prods.

Great stuff and nice truck.

When I used it I noticed oily spots all over the body, I think I went a little overboard. This happen to any of you?

Looks great. I'm digging that low profile toolbox, nice and sleek.

Oh yeah, the box is great. $140.00 at the local feed and seed. Daws Better Built makes these for Rural King. They are the cheaper model, but it's good enough for me really. Jumper cables, trailer hitch, tie downs, tackle box, the usual. Indeed, the low pro was a must for me = Country Cadillac.

- Weatherproof Seals

- Heavy-Duty Five Pocket Tray
- 100% Fully Welded Seams
- Solid .063 Aluminum Construction
- Foam Filled Lids
- Wide Pullhandle rotary locking latches

Yes, I did notice some slime on the paint henkyjenky. Not alot but there was some overspray do to the wind blowing 30MPH at times. That said I don't really like spraying at all. In this instance there wasn't much of a choice however. I thought about using a paint brush, but once I was in there I just kept going--ta hell with it, ya know?

I can't wait till I can use this 303 on my tires.

Exactly, but it kept coming back for about a week, the stuff never seemed to dry.

Well thanks for telling me that. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I go using it on the rest of my vinyl trim pieces.

Just regular paint cleaner didn't get yours off? I guess that's a testament to the stuff, but I sure don't want it on the paint then. I have the worst possible color one can have, black paint

Yeah, I have black paint too.

The 303 would wipe off of the paint with out a problem, it would just keep flying off the trim and bed back onto the paint for about a week. Though, like I said, I put a ton on.

I guess experimentation is key. Since you've used a mega dose then I'll just use a lil' bit. While I was using it, it did appear a small amount should go a long way. I couldn't really tell though, given the texture of the bed-liner. I used about a half of a 16Oz. bottle. I did do the bed rails also. The bed rails didn't give me the "wow" factor like the bed-liner did. I'm hoping the tires will have the same appeal.

Hey henkyjenky. I see your truck is just about like mine. I have the Flairside as I wanted the fiberglass bed=no rust. They are a bitch to keep clean, but there isn't anything better looking when they are deatiled.

She's a beauty. Very nice truck. I'm proud of ya.

Thanks. Did a wash, clay, and wax yesterday (seems as most people did so as well) so the truck is looking mighty fine again.

Well you did a mighty fine job given the extreme weather conditions down your way. I've noticed it's been in the upper's 80's, already. Send some of that my way. We had snow on the ground 2 weeks ago.
