What do I use to take care of my spray in bedliner?

Hey guys, I live here in Mississippi and man the heat down here can sometimes be nasty with all the humidity. Which can cause a lot of things to fade.

I bought an Access Roll Cover to help protect my Pro Coat spray in bed liner, but I was wondering....

What can I use to clean my bed liner with to keep looking as close to the original darkness that it needs to be?

Can I use the 303 Aerospace Protectant on it to clean and protect it?

What are you guys using?

Thanks.

Sorry, man. I really don't know about that. I would guess you could use the 303 AP, but you'd have to contact the manufacturer for that info. And BTW, it's kind of unreasonable to think that you'll have a response from us in 14 minutes. I may be on a lot (probably too much), but I'm not that crazy/obsessed...

Considering bed liners are polymers, any plastics protectant should be fine. (or are some petroleum based??? I heard that once, too...)

Hell, I just spray mine out with a hose, I'm at 6000 ft and the sun fades about everything but my Line-X keeps on ticking.

got Line-x Xtra color-match sprayed in 2 days ago and I was assured there will be no fading... Austin, Tx., figure temp and humidity during the summer if ya want, all I'll say is it's nasty.. Lifetime nationwide warranty and you bet your *** I'll take 'em up on it if it fades..

I have Line-X, and when I got it I was told to use some Mop-n-Glo when washing the truck on the bedliner. Kind of brush it on.

Haven't tried it yet though.

Also I believe 303 Aerospace will work.

303 will work fine, but it's kind of expensive. Just get yourself a bottle of an inexpensive water based tire shine product and spray the bed down every 3 months. Most tire shine products contain UV inhibitors and that's what you want to minimize the fading. Even though many tire shine products make 'smooth' surfaces slick, it's never been a problem on the textured spray in liners I've dealt with detailing vehicles.

I hope the Xtra coating doesn't fade. The Xtra sprayed beds I've seen definitely look great, but two Linex dealers near me have told me they've already had problems with Xtra fading. On the other hand, several other Linex dealers tell me it will never fade. I guess time will tell, but it definitely looks great and should hopefully look great for a long time to come.

Thanks. I used the 303 and boy did it restore and make a difference. WOW!!

I wish I had taken before and after pics because the 303 brought back that dark textured look that it used to have when I first brought the truck home.

Nice!

I've used a product called Just Once, www.justonce.com, and it seemed to work real well. It also lasted a long time.
